Saris (cycleops mother or father company), had an awfully unorthodox strategy to dis collect the unit by using breaking the plastic knob.

The purchase used to be nice and very simple.

I would not are attempting it on any other model, because the hardware might not line up right. I put in it easily on my same old CO trainer in about 10 minutes and my wife uses her Stingray 20" wheel bike for train.
